Founded in 1982 to serve the research needs of energy companies exploring for oil and gas in Louisiana. ERDI has grown and expanded its services to include a variety of consulting services to the energy industry, financial institutions, law firms, government agencies, and other public and private entities. ERDI combines their research and technical capabilities to provide various engineering and geological services, including; permitting of waste injection wells, mineral histories, property and mineral evaluations, Office of Conservation and Office of Mineral Resource representation, oil and gas property development and management, prospect evaluation, litigation support, and other related services.
In recent years, ERDI has grown to include a variety of health and safety services to its portfolio in order to cater to our clients in the oil, gas, and midstream industries. We offer safety consulting services, safety manuals and updates, field safety audits and inspections, accident investigation services, safety program reviews and audits, as well as in-house and field safety training services.
